Aspiring software engineer with a passion for machine learning and AI.

About

I am a fourth-year Electrical and Computer Engineering Student at University of Toronto. I am self-motivated, a fast learner and I work well independently as well as in a team. I have 16 months of profressional work experience as a Software Developer in Test (QA) Intern which helped me strengthen my experience in scripting with Python, SQL, Java and automation frameworks like Playwright. I have experience with Python, C/C++, Java, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS and introductory knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms. I am passionate about artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in the world of automation.

  • Languages: Python, Java, C/C++, HTML/CSS
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib
  • Frameworks: Node.js, PyTorch, Playwright
  • Tools & Technologies: Git, JIRA, MATLAB

Looking for an opportunity to work in a challenging position combining my skills in Software Engineering, Machine Learning and QA Automation.

Experience

Software Developer in Test
  • Performed manual and automation tests for both UI and backend microservices & prepared test plan documentation.
  • Developed Python scripts utilizing Jenkins automation pipelines and Excel VBA macros to automate report generation and summary email draft which increase automation usage from about 20% to 85% and made the process 75% quicker.
  • Upgraded automated testing infrastructure by rewriting 9 existing Selenium tests to Playwright using Java and TestNG in IntelliJ.
  • Facilitated with new intern onboarding every 4 months by conducting and documenting knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Tools: Python, Java, TestNG, Playwright, PostgreSQL,

Math & Sci Tutor, Research Analyst
  • Provide 1-on-1 tutoring for elementary school to high school students in Math and Physics.
  • Use an inquiry-based approach to facilitate learning and promote critical thinking in students & worked through the student's problems using collaborative efforts, and hands-on learning.
  • Conducted data analysis on anonymous past sessions transcripts to highlight key features of the conversation using LabelBox.
  • Reviewed and accessed the sessions following a rubric of questions to find what methods or practices help contribute to better student experience.
  • Tools: LabelBox, Slack
